The service we provide you with:
Primary Health & Safety Audit, the primary audit is necessary to build up a picture of existing health and safety management controls and to determine their substance. The audit procedure is designed to scrutinise policies, procedures and day-to-day activities of the shop and the surrounding environment, from which a comprehensive report is produced which compares 'what is' against 'what should be', again with practical suggestions for improvement. Health and Safety Audits are best carried out by an external pair of eyes as nothing is overlooked.
Health and Safety Compliance Report, on subscribing to the scheme, we will carry out a safety audit and give a written compliance report on all your premises, that will assess your working practices. This audit and report will highlight if you require any action by your company to achieve a level of competence in that location.
Certificate of Compliance, on achieving a the required level of competence each premises will receive a certificate of compliance that will be valid for 1 year you will also receive an accreditation window sticker
Accident Investigation, in the unfortunate event of an accident in or around your shop, we will carry out detailed independent accident investigations to determine the aetiology (true cause) free of charge for the first incident; then a cover charge of £185+VAT for any subsequent accidents with the additional service if required, of representation in courts of law as an expert witness.
On-line Assistance, with any queries or advice you need, or if there has been an accident at work. You can contact us by phone, fax or e-mail throughout the subscription period with either immediate response, or where research is necessary, we would call you back with a definitive answer.
Updates, on changes to health, safety or environmental legislation which particularly affects your operations. For instance we will not notify you of changes to 'Nuclear Installations Regulations' unless of course they affect you. All information is formatted in easy to understand plain English.
Completion of Health and Safety Questionnaires, what a chore these are, but as one of our clients we would hold relevant information (treated as strictly confidential) and you simply forward the questionnaires to us and we would do the rest.

Health & Safety Inspections
Regular health and safety inspections are an invaluable tool in conveying to employees your commitment to health and safety. The inspections take a snap shot of working practices and identify any problem areas. If regularly carried out, a safety culture is quickly developed which benefits everyone.
Current health and safety legislation hinges on the duty to assess risks to employees or others who may be affected by your operations. The assessments we produce identify the hazards, associated risks, persons at risk, existing control measures and practical suggestions on additional measure that may be required, typical assessments include: workplace, equipment, plant and machinery, manual handling, hazardous substances, personal protective equipment, display screen equipment.

Production of bespoke policies to reflect your unique intentions to provide a healthy, safe working environment which contains a general policy statement, safety management structure (family tree), responsibilities of key individuals and all employees, and your specific arrangements for ensuring health and safety.
Testing & Monitoring
We carry out a wide range of test, inspection and monitoring services either in conjunction with legally required risk assessments (such as noise and COSHH) or as stand-alone items. These include:
- Inspection and testing of portable electrical appliances
- Airflow measurement of ventilation or fume extraction systems or general workplaces
- Noise measurement and monitoring
- Dust and fume sampling, monitoring and measurement
- Lighting and illumination level measurement
- Microwave radiation leak testing (microwave ovens and electronic equipment).

One of our objectives is to provide professional, cost effective services to all our clients. We believe that our ability to be flexible in our range of services allows us to provide you with essential advice and assistance without excessive cost.
Our training programmes can be adapted to suit your own particular needs. These are examples of our most commonly used courses:
· General Health and Safety - covers health and safety law, the legal framework, principles of health and safety and requirements of employers and employees
· Fire strategy and audits- Practical and theoretical examples of how to carry out suitable fire risk assessments and regular fire equipment tests
· Risk Assessment - Practical and theoretical examples of how to carry out suitable assessments
· Internal Safety Audits and Inspections - how to carry out audits and inspections with practical exercises
· Manual Handling - Health effects of incorrect manual handling, how the spine works, correct lifting and handling techniques, avoidance of manual handling
All training courses can be run in-house or at an external venue. We charge a flat rate per day, not a price per delegate giving you the flexibility on the amount of attendees (we do not advise having more than 10 delegates on any course).
We are able to act as your CDMC for any project under the scope of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations, working closely with the Designers/Architects, Client and Principal Contractor during the conceptual and initial phases of the project to ensure all aspects of health and safety have been considered and sufficient resources have been allocated. Once the construction phase is completed, we compile a comprehensive health and safety file for the Client.
